Two very light cone materials allow for fast reaction times. This results in accurate clean sound. A silk dome tweeter offers lusciously rich vocals and sweet harmonies all with the new Profile Flawless design. AIM Series in-ceiling speakers were the first to feature an aimable woofer/tweeter module that aims the sound in any direction you choose. No longer are you bound by the design of your room. Just mount the speakers wherever it’s convenient and point them wherever you want sound. Profile grilles are available in AIM8, AIM7 and AIM5 models.

- The S.9 utilizes an active-passive configuration; one of the 10-inch drivers is controlled by the 350 watt amplifier, while the passive driver reinforces the active driver. This additional surface effectively doubles the air moving capacity of the design.
- The result is more dynamic, prodigious bass across the entire room while reaching over a half octave below the S.5 model.
- Both speaker level and subwoofer (line) level inputs are provided for the most flexible connectivity, and the controls let you dial in the subwoofer to blend perfectly into your system.
