CompareA decade ago, Solo redefined the style and performance of compact Hi-Fi & Movie systems, bringing Arcam’s legendary sound quality into ‘non Hi-Fi’ homes. The new Solo movie delivers music and movie sound at a quality level previously only possible from large separate components.
Featuring a BD/DVD/SACD/CD drive and 250W of amplification in a stylish, low-resonance enclosure, the Solo movie provides high-quality room-filling sound. Four HDMI™(1.4b), coax, optical, phono and 3.5mm line inputs allow for flexible system building without being over complex. Audio can also be streamed to the movie via Bluetooth and also UPnP network either wired or wirelessly. Finally an FM/ DAB/DAB+ tuner is available. On board decoding of all current HD audio formats ensure that absolutely no sonic detail is lost. The movie is supplied with a multi-page learning backlit remote control.

UPSAMPLING AUDIO MAGIC
Everything that passes through the Stream Magic 6 V2 is upsampled, using our unique ATF2 (Adaptive Time Filtering) process, developed in conjunction with Anagram Technologies of Switzerland, through a high-end Analog Devices DSP (Digital Signal Processor), to ultra-high detail 24-bit 384kHz output.
As well as dragging extra detail from every source (even CD, Blu-ray and “Lossless” digital files), ATF2 virtually eliminates “jitter” common in playing digital audio files – which can lead to a flatter, lifeless sound with tinnier bass response. Those problems vanish when digital audio’s put through Stream Magic 6 V2.

Use our free Stream Magic Remote app to bring full control of Stream Magic 6 V2 to your fingertips. Access music stored across your home network and gain full and instant control of all supported streaming services and internet radio platforms, with track information and album art displayed on your device automatically. Led Zeppelin II (Deluxe Edition)
The 2014 remastering of Led Zepplin’s second album sounds incredible on the Stream Magic 6 and is available in hi-res 24bit/96kHz. The original was recorded in 1969 and this remastering gives it a fresh breath of clarity and detail. Our favorite track is Ramble On; melodic, lyrical genius with an awesome guitar lick.

The pinnacle of digital and streaming performance – the 851N is the ultimate network player. It’s features include; 24-bit/384kHz upsampling from all sources, native 24-bit/192kHz playback, USB, digital audio inputs and streaming over wi-fi including UPnP and NAS drives, Spotify Connect, Apple AirPlay, and DSD.
The 851N takes almost any digital file from virtually any source and renders it to the highest possible standard. Every digital source becomes a hi-fi option; its wireless options include Wi-Fi, internet radio, Spotify, Airplay. Add an optional BT100 Bluetooth dongle, and any paired Bluetooth device is connected.
Digital source components, such as a smartphone, set-top box or PC can connect via optical, co-axial or AES/EBU inputs, while other media are supported with Ethernet, USB and Audio USB. Music files in all the popular formats are supported, from MP3, through to FLAC/Apple Lostless and WAV 16-24 bit master files.
Thanks to our proprietary ATF2 audio upsampling, the 851N upsamples everything to 24-bit / 384kHz. The audio signal then passes through two Analog Devices DACs in dual differential mode for the very finest digital to analogue conversion. As well as connecting the 851N to a traditional integrated amplifier, it can also be configured as a digital pre-amp allowing it to be connected directly to a power amp such as the 851W for further sonic purity.
